Clean the painted surface of the fender vent. Apply water or a soapy mix of water to this area and the vinyl. This allows you to move the product around and position it correctly without it bunching up due to the adhesive. Once it is positioned, use your finger to press the vinyl down. I do not recommend using a squeegee. They are abrasive and can damage the vinyl. You can press the water out simply with your fingers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNOTE: Using heat, like a heat gun or hair dryer helps the adhesive bond and can stretch the product if needed to fill in gaps when positioning. When using heat, start low and learn how the heat affects the vinyl. My rule of thumb is that if you wouldn't heat your fingers to that temperature, you might want to think twice about heating the vinyl to it!
