High quality white rice, Japanese Akita Komachi rice is one of the best for its perfect stickiness. Tubules are suitable for making sushi, risotto, onigiri and sashimi.
Our rice is grown on our farm using a natural and eco-friendly method that involves ducks. The ducks help us with weed and insect control, without using any harmful chemicals or pesticides. They also fertilize the soil and provide us with eggs. Our rice is very well managed and carefully processed, ensuring the best flavor and freshness.
Cooking process – wash the rice three times, leave half inch of water above the rice for cooking, boil the water with the rice, cook for another 15 minutes on medium heat, do not mix, turn off the heat, leave the rice for 10-15 minutes, remove the lid of the pot so that no water drips into the pot. Gently scoop the rice with a wide spoon.
