Juicy whole blackberries give this elegant jam depth of flavor. We love it on toast or vanilla ice cream, and it complements cheese and yogurt beautifully.
Spread it: Great on toast, muffins, freshly-baked bread and paired with thick cream on scones
Spoon it: A wonderful complement to yogurt and granola, or on vanilla ice cream as an afternoon treat
Pair it: Perfect with mild creamy cheese such as camembert, feta and goat cheese; great complement to the stronger blue cheese; wonderful with sorpressata and paté
Bake it: Mix with sliced tart apples such as Granny Smith and cover with a crumb crust for an quick ‘n’ easy Blackberry & Apple cobbler / crumble
Make brie & blackberry pinwheels by spreading Brazos River Blackberry Jam on lightly thawed puff pastry and covering with thinly sliced brie. Roll up tightly, chill for 30 minutes before slicing into 10 wheels, basting lightly with egg or milk and baking on parchment paper for 22-25 minutes at 350° until golden brown.
