This coffee is named after the exact moment I realized coffee could mean a lot more to someone than I ever understood.
We were at Goat Hill Park in Oceanside, California, playing in the Almigos “El Compadre.” After the round, we pulled into a drive-thru for coffee. I was still a novice—just happy to get something warm. My friend Nico Bollini, on the other hand, was expecting a proper 4-ounce cortado.
When the barista offered only 12- and 16-ounce versions, he had a full-blown meltdown—like, drive off without the coffee levels of meltdown.
At the time, I thought he was insane. A few years later… I am that guy.
Drive-Thru Meltdown is a tribute to that turning point—the moment you realize that once you know what great coffee is supposed to taste like, you just can’t settle. This Organic Papua New Guinea & Colombia blend is for coffee lovers who know exactly what they want—and aren’t afraid to drive away if it’s not done right.
