This blend is named after the moment I realized just how deep the rabbit hole of coffee obsession goes.
A few years ago, my friend Taylor Wood casually mentioned he had spent $8,000 on his home espresso setup. At the time, I was making pour-overs with a $70 Chemex and thought he had completely lost it. Four figures? For a home machine? No way.
Fast forward a few years—and I’m now the proud owner of multiple four-figure machines. Turns out, he wasn’t crazy… just ahead of the curve. (But maybe a little crazy, too.)
