Organic spelt berries have a hard outer shell and a nutty flavor. They are a good source of protein, fiber, and minerals, making them a healthy, nutritious addition to any diet.

We love that organic spelt berries are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). This means that they are better for the environment and our hungry tummies!

In addition to being organic, spelt berries are also a good option for those with gluten sensitivities. While spelt does contain gluten, it is a different type of gluten than that found in modern wheat.

Some people with gluten sensitivities may be able to tolerate spelt better than other grains. However, those with celiac disease should still avoid spelt as it contains gluten and can cause harmful reactions.

Use spelt berries to make a hearty addition to stuffings, soups, salads, pilafs and a substitute for rice (even risottos!)

While we pack each order with care to minimize seam breakage, the stitching is fragile on the 25# bags and may burst open during transit.
