With more umami than its spicy cousin Gochujang, Ssamjang is a thick chili paste made of doenjang, gochujang, sesame oil, onion, garlic, green onions, and sometimes brown sugar. This blend emulates these flavors in a wonderfully complex yet easy-to-use seasoning blend.
